1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is Paweł Lipowczan, who runs his business in Ustroń, Silesia, Poland. Contact: pawel@lipowczan.pl
2. The data collected
This site collects the following data:
- Data from the contact form: name, e-mail address, the content of the message
- Data from accepting the terms of the Website Care service: e-mail address, the date and time of acceptance, the version of the documents accepted and the chosen variant of the service
- Analytics data (only with the user's consent): the address of the page visited, the address of the page the visitor came from, country and region, operating system, browser and device type
- The choice made in the consent banner, stored in the browser's storage
3. Purposes of processing
Personal data is processed in order to:
- Answer enquiries sent through the contact form
- Record acceptance of the terms of the Website Care service and send the person accepting a copy of the accepted documents. The acceptance is the only evidence that the agreement was concluded, so its record is kept.
- Analyse traffic on the site and improve how it works (with consent)
- Ensure the site works properly
4. Legal basis
Data is processed on the basis of:
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR: the user's consent (traffic analytics)
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: necessity for the performance of a contract or for steps taken before entering into it (the contact form)
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest of the controller (remembering the choice made in the consent banner)
5. Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies. In the browser's storage (localStorage) it keeps only the choice made in the consent banner, so as not to ask again on every visit.
Traffic analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) starts only after the visitor chooses “Accept” in the banner. It sets no cookies. It tells visitors apart by a hash made from the request data, which the provider discards after 24 hours. After “Essential only”, the analytics script is not loaded at all.
The user can change the decision at any time through “Privacy settings” in the site's footer, which reopens the banner. A withdrawal takes effect from the next page opened: the analytics script is no longer loaded. The site's data can also be cleared in the browser's settings.
6. How long data is kept
Personal data is kept for the following periods:
- Data from the form: until the correspondence ends, or for the limitation period for claims
- Analytics data: for the period set by the provider of the analytics service
- The choice made in the consent banner: in the browser's storage, until the user changes it or clears the site's data
